As the DC under Whitt, Kalani held a clipboard and did what he was told to do...

...in Whitt's defense. It's not like KS did a lot of real coordinating on his own there. This was pretty widely known and talked about by yewt fans back in the day. I don't think Whitt ever got to a point where he was ready to take off the training wheels for KS.
