Maybe I missed the point of the thread.
Seemed like it was about economics, and people are trying to draw conclusions about the restaurant industry as a whole that I don't agree with entirely. I don't disagree with your point about having empathy for those losing their jobs, I just don't think that this is indicating a particular labor crisis, rather a shifting of market tastes, which has been happening for some time.

Those restaurants mostly suck. Denny’s is trash. Many of the others are so over priced and mid food, they should shut
