I ask my employees to set goals so that I know what I can do to put them in a position to succeed at things they want
To do. I feel like most of my job with regards to my employees is setting things up for them and crafting situations for all them to meet their goals.
I can just tell them what to do all the time but if there are things they want to do to find more fulfillment with their career, I can do that for them. And the way I know what they want to do with their career is for them to set and share their goals with me.
