Frankly, the only place I’ve been outside of the US where some type of crime was committed against me or my family outside of the unnecessary heavy groping I endured in Doha in the name of flight security is in Athens. My wife had her phone pickpocketed. She had it in her sweater pocket, felt it immediately get pulled, ran after the guy, who pretended to be using it as his own phone. She yelled at him and grabbed it back out of his hands. He did nothing but sheepishly walk away. I felt bad because I had taken my daughter down the street to find a restroom while my wife was looking at a bookshop.
