How much overweight does one need to be to get a prescription? (asking for a friend)
I'm sure it varies by provider.
I'm only about 12 lbs over my ideal weight but can't seem to keep it where it should be. I suppose it's better utilized by people with more severe weight issues, but I wonder how many people in my situation have a prescription.
With demand already surpassing capacity, the last thing the more serious patients need is people like me making things worse.
