CB poll ranked Anthony Edwards behind both of Cade Cunningham and Paolo Banchero for players they’d want to build around. Only 8% had him ahead of both guys.

Now In Odysseus’s linked poll he’s only behind the best prospect since Lebron. I think at this point it’s clearly 1. Edwards 2. Banchero 3. Cunningham. I think at the very top of the league our perceptions (rightfully) change very slowly, but the further down you go (and especially for young players) things change very quickly. Three years ago Bill Simmons and Ryen Russillo were asking if Ayton was a top 20 player in the NBA (which was always a crazy conversation imo).
