TL;DR version
I took over midway through the Software Engineering III course, adapting to the previous professor's structure. I aim to integrate QA/testing principles from my safety engineering background into the capstone course. The primary issues I've noticed with UVU CS/SE students are a lack of understanding of industry standards and an inability to handle ambiguity. They often struggle when there isn't a clear, step-by-step process to follow, especially in team settings or intercultural interactions. Employers consistently cite these as significant challenges for recent grads. Have you noticed similar trends with UVU or other recent CS/SE grads?
