$6500, I’m taking the $6,500. Everyone is taking the $6,500.
And the first guy can claim it’s not worth that. Kelly Blue Book is a reasonable authority to agree that it’s not worth that.
But in the end, the value I get is whatever someone is willing to pay. And I sure won’t feel bad. Because to someone it’s worth more.
In any real transaction, actual value is not about general consensus. It’s whatever the highest bid is. It can (and does) change the next day.
