It's an analogy but since that seems too difficult for you to understand
BYU gave Pope a huge opportunity. When he got that opportunity he was looking to move on as soon as he possibly could.
He gave us mostly 5th place regular season finishes and early exits from conference and National tournaments. Despite that played in front of packed arenas and was greeted by fans on the road.
He left the minute he could and hasn't had the grace to thank BYU or it's fans.
Let's not pretend he was a great BYU coach. He was OK. He didn't want to be here and left when he could. Good and good luck MP.
