You're not wrong. But better jobs doesn't mean better coach.
Also, it doesn't NOT mean that, obviously.
The point is that nobody out there has the resume we want. We will end up with a HC that is underqualified, based on resume, for the job. End of story. I don't think it's a stretch to believe that one of them will end up a better coach than Mark Pope (or Madsen). At least, let's fervently hope not.
