Obviously, who ends up making it to the Final 4 plays heavily into ticket sales.
And those teams' proximity to the event as well.

I checked again close to game-time for the Championship, and there were some nice lower level seats for $125.
So if you live close to the event anyways, perhaps waiting and patiently watching the market could work.

But it makes it a little less predictable, to be sure.
