I don’t have a dog in this fight. I have a small sample size of data because she happened to be in a game I watched to see Caitlyn Clark.

Caitlyn Clark seemed humble and business like. Her fame precedes her simply because of what she does on the court. She is not saying “look at me”. And she backed up the pedestal the public has put her on. Role model. Imperfect. Room to improve in defense, rebounding, and mid-range.

Angel Reese and her coach. I was unimpressed. Actually impressed. Bad impression of her coach on the sideline. Angel had a very good 1st half and announcers were praising her every move. Ankle may or may not be why - but she played poorly in the 2nd half. Even free throw shooting was terrible. Yet she was still yelling at teammates and her coach to “get me the ball” and “quit taking dumb shots”.
