Yesterday was a pretty good day: hike 24 miles, and passed the 100 mile point. Hardest part was a 14-mile water carry up the mountain first thing in the morning, but even that wasn't too bad.
Today I picked up my first resupply box at Warner Springs. Everyone has been warning me about the forecast this weekend, which I normally would not be too worried about. But last Sunday morning I discovered my trusty old tent had a pretty significant leak when I woke up in a cold puddle from the rain. So until I can get my tent either repaired or replaced, I feel like I'd better find some place with a roof. Nothing available here in Warner Springs, so currently checking my other options.
Happy trails!
