Guys were FLYING AROUND at practice… jk. We’ve heard that one too many times.

But! CougConnect has been posting Spring Practice reports after every practice day of spring ball. I know we aren’t supposed to share any specifics because it all stays behind the pay wall. (gotta pay our cougars somehow!)

But - an insider last night who watched all of practice said a couple of things I thought were interesting.

1. Miles Davis is getting a lot of reps with the ones. I think it was a priority to keep him after losing Robbins and he is coming into the spring practices with something to prove.

2. The other is about how much Isaiah Glasker has stepped up l. I believe he is also running with the ones. I’m excited to see how spring practices go with him already making a difference. Let’s hope he’s a big impact player come this fall.

I think both of these guys will end up starting games or at least seeing a lot more time than a lot of us have expected. If Davis can get it figured out… watch out. It will be fun to see that kind of speed at the RB position.

I can’t really share all the details. But I can say CougConnect does a great job getting very detailed reports to its subscribers. They also are partnered up with some people doing some pretty significant things with HS NIL. Guys like Brock Harris and Ami Moala have regular contact with some of the guys over at CougConnect And I know they have some eyes set on some big recruits in the next couple of years to get them to BYU.

If you haven’t yet you should really check out what they are doing. I think it is making a big impact with players. Plus I think they have a good shot of helping some recruits see a lot of the NIL benefits offered to BYU players.

I know we all talk about how “behind” BYU sometimes is in the NIL game and how we hope for the “big donors” to step it up. I’m not a big donor at all, but I do like knowing I’m trying to help some with what I can and getting some fun tidbits of inside info for it.
Much better than the common spring and fall practice insider report “guys are flying around” vague post every other day here on CB… 😂
