A machinist in Orem had one of the four DB5s for years as he was restoring it, along with one of the 1937 Rolls-Royce
Used by Goldfinger during the golf scene. He sold them for over a million each **IIRC**.
He also had a car that was rumored to be the one used by Heinrich Himmler, Hitler's righthand man. He got a call from Mercedes from Germany one day. They asked him to verify the serial numbers. Then they offered 7 digits on the spot. They didn't care what condition it was in. He sold.
This was a long time ago, and my memory may have confused a few details. The machinist was a family friend.
