Woke up in Midland Texas this morning. Do you know what is in Midland? Dust, tumbleweeds, and oil.
Oil pumping is going crazy so this place has no affordable hotel rooms. Every RV park is full with oil workers. There is nothing here that isn’t related to oil.
But for some reason the Texas high schools decided this was the best place to hold the 6A regional swim meets.
