Wow! The shooting stats are blistering. An eFG% of 71% against a Big12 team is incredible. It was very noticeable that the coaches stressed going to the paint. The players weren't hunting 3 point shots like they have in other games. We'll see if that continues or if teams adjust and then there will be more 3 point shots that are open.
Lots of green in the stats. It's so nice to have Fouss back and looking like his old self again. It felt like in the Houston game that Pope wasn't sure if his lack of heighth could do anything against Houston. Then Fouss came in and balled out. It's nice to see him get 16 points in 17 mins. His usage was at 38.1% with a pts/poss at 1.36. Great combination!
Waterman has been shooting the ball much better in the past few games. He is critical to getting wins for this team.
Hall is the engine that gets this team moving and playing really well. I love watching him direct the offense and his two drives to the hoop were fun. 4 assists with 1 turnover.
Khalifa had 8 assists to 2 turnovers. It seems like most Big12 teams have been guarding against the backdoors with him. Texas didn't.
There's no easy game in conference. West Virginia beat Kansas. So much fun being in this conference.
Go Cougs!!!
