All-American
You are correct from the state of Utah. Plenty of really good Freshman
And Sophomore PGs Playing D1 ball though.
Hopefully playing in the #1 basketball conference we start to sign some, but as we know Honor Code is a challenge.

Who's on your radar?
Dark Forest Green
Jan 10, 9:22pm
Let's see if we can get Cooper Flagg to transfer
spidercoug
Jan 10, 9:23pm
He could work out
Archaea
Jan 10, 9:25pm
Whoa...the favorite to be the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. This guy must be

As much as this year team has been fun, next year could be even better. Depends

Jan 10, 9:39pm
So what’s the latest on Adams?
UMWolverine
Jan 10, 9:52pm
Still injured and not fit
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:07pm
Not sold on Baker in athleticism department
Archaea
Jan 10, 9:36pm
Baker is great with the ball and can score.
Idacoug
Jan 10, 9:51pm
Athleticism is different than knowing how to create space / score. His 1st step
gp232
Jan 10, 10:01pm
But someone with equal vision and superior athleticism
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:04pm
Yeah B12 full of those guards
Cooouuugs
Jan 12, 6:53am
You probably were not sold on Eli Bryant's athleticism the year he played hurt. Baker is going to be one of BYU's best.
roseyscenario
Jan 10, 10:08pm
No, I was always a proponent of his
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:09pm
He was not sloppy, he was hurt. Baker is every bit what Eli was, which was BYU's best player. Baker is a complete player
roseyscenario
Jan 10, 10:15pm
But you are wrong in that I was a big fan of Elijah.
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:17pm
Eli was never a sloppy player as you said. The athletic label has become a meaningless description. Baker is first rate.
roseyscenario
Jan 10, 10:33pm
He had some bad shooting nights and TOs
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:34pm
He played hurt. His TO rate was lower that year than his senior year. Everyone in program knew he was great.
roseyscenario
Jan 10, 10:38pm
He didn’t play his senior year. He transferred from Elon
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:41pm
Redshirted so he graduated. You posted some 15 times dissing Eli the year he was hurt. Here's one calling him over hyped
roseyscenario
Jan 10, 10:52pm
He didn’t play his fourth year of college.
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:59pm
We agree on that as I said in my previous post. Clerical error. I meant his second year at BYU.
roseyscenario
Jan 10, 11:06pm
He has plenty of athleticism. He's quicker than Hall, not as quick as Stewart
LifeLongLakerFan
Jan 11, 10:25am
And shoots 3’s at a 40% clip
UMWolverine
Jan 10, 9:51pm
Short memory, Tejon Lucas, Williams, Avarate or Hall. They were all quicker but
johnnybyu
Jan 10, 10:05pm
He is not a Big XII level PG.
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:07pm
He is a sophomore and has held his own. He is going to be the team leader for
johnnybyu
Jan 10, 10:09pm
He doesn’t shoot FTs well and not fast enough
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:10pm
I didn't think he was fast enough last year but he has been this year.
johnnybyu
Jan 10, 10:12pm
He could be serviceable if
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:14pm
Wrong. Don’t be angry when Pope goes and signs a legit B12 PG. there is a reason
gp232
Jan 10, 10:15pm
Precisely.
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:16pm
Don't be angry when said point guard backs up Hall like Williams did last year
johnnybyu
Jan 10, 10:17pm
Chandler may be tried out at PG
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:18pm
Literally zero chance next year. First he was not a PG in high school, so not
Bluforever
Jan 10, 10:24pm
We need length and quickness to play in Big XII.
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:32pm
Funny. Hall is a score first, I’m the guy PG, exactly won’t we don’t need.
gp232
Jan 10, 10:25pm
Have you watched a game besides Cincinatti? Yes he shot way to many shots that
johnnybyu
Jan 10, 10:32pm
He plays hero ball a lot.
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:33pm
Archaea knows what he’s talking about

Jan 10, 10:50pm

Jan 10, 10:44pm
He could be a useful backup if he played smart
Archaea
Jan 10, 10:47pm
You are so smart not living in Utah

Jan 10, 11:05pm
It is just a lack of provincialism
Archaea
Jan 10, 11:11pm
So you are telling me Dallin Hall isn't Jimmer or Ainge? You don't say? Which
johnnybyu
Jan 10, 11:13pm
He is not Lydell or even Anson Winder
Archaea
Jan 10, 11:15pm
Winder?? I liked Lyday but that was 2001. Whiting was also great but not nearly
johnnybyu
Jan 10, 11:18pm
He is inadequate for BYu’s task ahead.
Archaea
Jan 10, 11:21pm
He is not as good as Bryant's junior year at BYU agreed. But better than his sop
johnnybyu
Jan 10, 11:24pm
As someone emphasized above Elijah played hurt that year
Archaea
Jan 10, 11:37pm
He was injured but Bryant didn't have the handles to be a big 12 pg. He was a
johnnybyu
Jan 10, 11:40pm
His ball-handling is easily better than all four of those guys. Whiting included (whose handles were poor for a PG).

Jan 10, 11:38pm
After this comment I fully understand you are trolling

TJ is pretty under rated as was E. Bryant. Don’t mean to bag on Hall at all but
ledfoot
Jan 10, 11:43pm
TJ was great but would have been broken in half and Bryant didn't have great
johnnybyu
Jan 10, 11:49pm
I think TJ was pretty over-rated by much of our fanbase. He was very good, but had plenty of weaknesses to exploit.
SinkingQuffa
Jan 10, 11:52pm
Not a TJ “fan boy” at all but he won me over his last couple years. We’ll see
ledfoot
Jan 10, 11:56pm
Like I said, TJ was very good — as both a player & PG. He had a lot of up-n-downs in his career
SinkingQuffa
Jan 12, 1:24am
You are correct from the state of Utah. Plenty of really good Freshman

I think Hall could be that guy
