Looking to install a touchscreen on the wall to display calendar, news, weather, stock ticker, photos, and have access to Smartthings controls and security camera feeds. I'd want it to be a seamless install - maybe even in-wall or flush with the wall, without any power cables visible or anything like that. That would probably mean that 27" is the biggest standard size touchscreen that could be used in between studs.
Looks like there are commercial versions, like Dakboard, available. I'm sure there are plenty of DIY options using a Rasberry Pi or similar. Seems like an iPad or Android tablet would also be an option.
Just checking to see if anybody has done anything like this and what resources they've used.
