I don't claim to know every specialty but would be interested to hear from other specialists on what drugs have completely altered how we treat multiple disease states. Stated another way, I probably have the Ozempic/Mounjaro talk with 1/3 of my non-acute visits every day. Just since writing the original post I've talked about it with 3 patients.
We're constantly bombarded with drug reps and I can't think of another drug that where I've thought that this drug completely alters this disease state. Most of the time it's incremental, if any, benefit from an already available generic.
