It’s clear the players loved your dad as a coach. I believe KS and AR are trying to do what’s best for the long-term interest of the program. That doesn’t mean your dad underperformed. I don’t think anyone here believes that. They might think that about Funk but they wouldn’t know what they’re talking about there either.
I don’t believe Coach Clark was a scapegoat. I believe KS has a vision that requires shifts in assignments a skill sets. These conversations are hard. Business is personal because it personally affects the people involved. I lose no sleep firing people who deserve it, but when strategic changes are required, hard choices have to be made.
