that 2020 schedule combined with a solid running game and receivers (mostly Milne and Bushman) that were very good at leveraging themselves open, so he often did not have to come off his first or second read. There were a lot of over/under concepts in the passing game as well, which means those first two reads were usually the same side of the field.

He has all the physical tools for sure and he has a great work ethic by all accounts, put processing and recognition are key in the NFL, because everybody has the elite physical talent for the most part.

I was really rooting for him, but his best shot is a reset somewhere, which I don't even know if he will get at this point, even if the Jets release him. And guys, it wasn't the franchise that ruined him, Jets got him weapons, yes the O-line was mediocre and injury prone, but he has always had one of the highest release times in the league, and you can't be successful if you can't get the ball out quick.
