Sione coached at Utah and then either retired or was asked to retire after 2021.
I’ve heard both, it honestly doesn’t really matter. Point is, he took a season off and then decided to get back into coaching and found a good opportunity to do so. Good for him! I don’t think it says anything other than he wanted to get back in the game and found someone to hire him.
