I got the same email about Cougar Club levels and season tickets, and I reached out to Cougar Club with some questions; here's what I learned:

1. Cougar Club only looks at donations made in the last 6 months towards upgrading your Cougar Club level. For example, if you donated $125 last February to get to 'Royal Cougar' status and now you want to upgrade to Bronze to get an earlier date for buying season FB tickets, you can't just 'top off' your donation amount by donating another $125 to get you up to a total yearly donation of $250 (the amount required amount to be Bronze). Instead, you need to donate the full $250 within the 6 months prior to BYU assigning your "ticket priority" to buy season tickets.

2. Related to that, the required donation amount for each level increases on January 1, 2024, so it would be smart to donate in December, because donating in January will cost you more to get up to the desired CC level.
