Erin Hills is fantastic. All around great course with no weaknesses and some terrific golf holes.

If you zoom in on some of the pictures above you can see people in them, and just how small they look compared to their surroundings, the scale of the course is gigantic. It reminds me of Arcadia Bluffs in that way.

In particular, the back nine was something special, with excellent golf hole after excellent golf hole….not quite Pasatiempo’s back 9, but close. If you are ever near Milwaukee, it is a must. And honestly a value at the $406 I paid for an afternoon time.

One interesting note is there are no wheels allowed on the course, so you either have to get a caddy or carry your own bag. We carried our own bag and had a great time, but we’re pretty tired at the end.
