sideline seats for years, and all the sudden the increased demand pushed them out of the sidelines - but instead of moving over to prime endzone seats - those seats were already "reserved" and they got pushed way back into the cheap seats in the economy endzone. If people want to talk about "fairness", then they can't ignore that fact.
Also, BYU has been very transparent about their desire to increase the size of Cougar Club and create more incentives to join. One of the ways to do that is to actually provide tangible benefits via better seats to football games, and part of that is by reseating the stadium. Personally, I wouldn't mind a reseat every year.
