I spoke with someone at CougarClub about this today. Here is the skinny.

1) The EZ seat changes will be for 2024.   You will be able to keep your same seats after so long as you maintain your same level of CC in future years.  So consider what level you want now, because you'll need to keep it for 2024 and after in order to keep your seats.

2) They will "reseat" again in the future sometime. Not known yet when.  Basically in order to benefit higher donor members more from time to time, like this time.  CC members benefitted by Level, then points in that level.  So consider those things for #1, but also when reseating occurs again in the future.

Basically, it is better to be in the lowest level of CC than to not be in if you want the chance to keep your seats again after 2025 until a reseating occurs again. And the higher the priority, the better the seat options available to you most likely.  But you'll have to sustain that level or you'll get reseated again the next year.

In other words, BYU is fundraising and this is one way how. But in the process, they are trying to benefit higher donors here with the reseating as that hasnt happened with EZ seats before. This is the shake-up, then a pause until it happens again. Whenever that will be.

That is how I understand it as was told to me.
