Took me 18 years to draw the South Slope Diamond mountain tag. Had a huge bull
on private hoping to feed over to the public. Some dorks were watching it and starting coyote calling at the herd scaring them off.

The last morning of the hunt, it was shooting light and I had a nice bull in my scope. It wanted to get a good range on the distance but needed just a bit more light. I layed in the dirt waiting when I got buzzed by an droneand off went the herd. Ate tag soup and have never killed a bull. Was a pretty frustrating hung.

Congrats to your buddy on the bull. Nothing like hunt elk in the rut?
