to come get an elk that had been hit by a car up Provo Canyon. I went with him to clean it, and help him take what meat wasn't bruised and whatnot. He was able to harvest what he wanted, but they made us cut off the antlers and give it to them. Told us, that it was the property of Utah Fish and Game, and we couldn't have that part. Not sure how they decide what they want, and what they will give permission for, but my one experience was that we were not allowed to take the antlers.
