When you’ve got an organization that is this public, that faces this much scrutiny, performance matters.

Funk is not dumb. He expects scrutiny. he expects to perform. He expects to be fired if he doesn’t perform. It’s what collegiate coaching is all about. He knows all of this. He doesn’t need you to protect him.
