Disney parks cater more and more to older wealthier individuals to the exclusion of kids and less and less to large families. Every stand sells alcohol, it's really tough to get rooms at the resorts for more than 4 people, and you have to get Genie+ for fast passes now (extra $25 per person) and this results in the actual lines being extremely unpredictable.
