I had a coworker leave for a competitor.. my company took her to court over her non-compete and lost (lots of management was unhappy that day I tell you).

My wife's company just sued the old owner of her company. She had a 3-year non-compete and just got destroyed in court. The old owner will now probably lose 2 other companies she started 🙂
