I worked seven seasons on a wildland fire crew.
I didn't know there was such a thing as reserving a tower and staying in it for recreation. How does this work before fire season is over?
It probably isn't something I'd do now for recreation because my memories are being cold, eating nothing but MREs, and going for days without showering.
