will make this game a "must watch" for the rest of the conference. I can see most of the conference sans the recent Pac12 fan bases all pulling for BYU to beat Utah every year. The ratings will likely become massive.

More on the drama. Many fans of Big12 teams were agnostic towards Utah. But as the drama played out between the two conferences, the BYU / Utah rivalry took center stage and really became the epicenter of the battle between the conferences. Fans of Big12 teams were thrown under the bus as well by Utah fans simply due to their allegiance to BYU. They were called Truck Stop schools while Utah acted superior both academically and athletically all the while trying to claim that BYU was in fact the one with a superiority complex. I just don't see how Utah can repair this moving forward. Most Big12 fans will watch this game and pull for the Cougars.
