cougarmeister How does this work?
I should have known, but in-person is different than just hearing the stories
I've shared this story before on CB, but in the early 90s I worked grounds crew at Cougar Stadium, and one time I talked to a guy who was on the TV crew for the old "Blue & White Network" and he told me that whenever they went to Laramie to televise a BYU/Wyoming game, the Wyoming administration actually provided yellow Wyoming sweatshirts for the entire TV crew and also provided "Wyoming" covers for all of the cameras (so that nobody would know that the TV people were affiliated with BYU) in order to protect them from the idiot Wyoming fans.

For you youngsters who don't know, the "Blue & White Network" is kind of the forerunner to BYUtv Sports, they used to televise BYU (and I think some Air Force?) games that didn't get picked up as part of the WAC television package.

So I *should* have known, but it was still surprising to be there and see the vitriol for myself.
