My daughter loved her hard top 4 door.. Zero issues for the 2 years she had it.. except..
.. it rattled like a can full of pennies.
The Gen3 Mini's have fixed most of the problems the early Gen1's had.
They are a blast to drive.
However, with the stiffer suspension of the Cooper Hardtops you get a ton of rattling. In my daughter most was caused by the hatch trunk cover. She didn't mind it... but it drove me crazy every time i drove it.
