- There is a window of expansion the next 45 days. It isn't closed after that but if things happen the next 45 days are key until the end of the athletic year.

- 2016 was a wakeup call for the athletic department. One of the criticisms that I think is fair against Tom is that the "learning about ourselves" shouldn't take an event like 2016 to happen. All of that data, all of that outreach to our donors and partners should have happened the last go around and certainly at the time of independence. BYU is an asset and we should have been able to tell that story better with the data the last 15 years. We needed more salesman, more agressive Yormark approach representing us in the past to tell our story.
