Why do people buy convertibles and never put the top down?
Maybe one out of every hundred times I see a convertible, do I see the top down. The owners worry too much about the wind messing up their hair, or the cold, or the possibility of rain, or getting a sunburn, or needing to run the AC, and never put their tops down. Then why buy a convertible? Idiotic. When I was a young man, I owned a convertible. I had the top down every moment that it was not pouring rain. Middle of winter: top down, heat cranked. Light sprinkle, top stayed down. Summer heat: the wind is your AC. Sold it to pay for my mission. Been wishing I had one ever since. Drives me nuts to see those who are blessed to have one not use it properly. Cops should pull them over and issue tickets for not correctly using their vehicles. (Same thing for Tesla owners who almost universally drive like grandmas. Make us of that great acceleration, or get off the road!)
