But for trash cans Kershaw would have 2 rings (Game 5 of the 2017 WS was a joke when they "lost" 13-12 in extras and Kershaw especially got screwed - he threw 50 breaking balls and they swung and missed at only 1 one of them when he averages like 15-20 swing and misses a
game). That plus his longevity and sustained excellence. He's still only 34 and could pitch another 3-4 years if he wanted to even though he probably doesn't.
Koufax was just awesome - won 4 out of 5 WS and was the best pitcher in the league for like 6 straight years and maybe the best lefty of all time. Had he not gotten injured at age 30, he would probably comfortably be the best Dodger all time maybe even in the conversation of best pitcher of all time.
