Anyone catch in Pope's interview that he's still hopeful Waterman gets rewarded
another year?
They've been trying to get one of his previous seasons where he only played like a game before injury — they're trying to get that to count as a RS — to get him another year of eligibility. Pope had said that was the original plan in recruiting him, but I thought they had given up on it.
Apparently not. It was an outsider interview, so I doubt he mentions that if it's not something they're really hopeful for — & working to make happen.
