BigXII is expanding. Who are better options in the west?
Folks need to stop acting like the BIGXII is the SEC or B1G. Middling P5 expansion targets is really the best case scenario for BigXII expansion - unless you’d be happier with a handful of G5 squads.
It gives the BigXII (and BYU) a western presence in a large market. They may suck now but they are one of only 3 schools in the conference with a national championship - and the most recent one at that. It creates more stability and strength for the BigXII in an era of super conferences. They don’t dilute value or else they wouldn’t be considered.
