Yep. I always have a couple of cards with good perks. Also, since the cards

have a "grace period" between when the charge is made and when the balance needs to be paid, I can make a purchase before the funds are in the account to pay for it. However, I never make a purchase that exceeds the amount of money I know will be in the checking account at the time the cc bill is due.
