Idea of an all electric ultimate driving machine. Until I can either get 500-700 miles on a charge doing freeway driving or they truly make electric charging stations so prevalent and fast (top up in under 10 minutes) with at lease a 300 mile travel, I’ll stick to the gas engines as long as I can.

I do wish BMW would follow what Porsche, McLaren, Ferrari, etc have done and used individual electric engines on each wheel to boost HP in conjunction with the ICE. They failed with the I8 and they need to revisit it. I would love to be able to use electric only for quick trips around town.

I will say they have done a fantastic job with the I7.
