I’d say at least 30% of the couples I know did. Maybe even higher, it’s not
Uncommon at all. That being said the number who broke up, got serious with someone else, and then got back together and married I’d imagine is much much smaller.
Better to resolve whatever doubts concerns you have before getting married than after IMO.
