NM's is a great design. A flag should be simple enough that elementary kids can recreate it.
And I think all of the 4-corner designs (sans Utah) fit that criteria perfectly.
I think that the new Utah one is still a little complicated, but it's still a huge improvement, and I actually really like it. I would have maybe gotten rid of the hexagon around the beehive, but maybe there's symbolism there that I don't understand, but would appreciate. Everything else is a super appropriate ode to Utah, the pioneers, the red rocks, mountains, etc.

I’ve never liked Utah’s flag. This one isn’t the version I wanted, but it’s pretty good. I’m happy with the change.
