If they lowered prices substantially to win back customers, I think government would raise gas taxes to offset savings. I also don't believe ev customers will go back to ice vehicles.

Now what happens when the cost of electricity is driven up? My guess is electricity will prove to be more price inelastic than gasoline. People will stick with their green energy no matter what.
