1) Let the Texas and Oklahoma possible addition from a decade ago become public without any guarantees, only to get played so both could get concessions from the B12 (the Longhorn Network is later born with tier 3 rights);
2) As a backup and to make it look like you knew what you were doing all along, take Utah and Colorado and ignore the obvious choice of BYU so Cal and Stanford can pat themselves on the back for not being racist (because...you know...they've done such a great job of managing their respective athletic budgets);
3) Spend a decade mismanaging a powerful brand of college football into a woke irrelevant butt of a joke in college FB (culminating in an 0-5 record against BYU and a losing record against the MWC);
4) After TX and OU bolt for the SEC, let it leak that you tried to snag 4 Big 12 teams (again with no guarantees) and came up empty again;
5) Act appalled and surprised when the Big 12 makes overtures to some of the best of your remaining teams after UCLA and USC head for the B1G (an astounding lack of self awareness considering points 2 and 4 above).
6) Let it be known that Women's Basketball and Olympic Sports are your ticket to matching B1G and SEC money.
7) Watch your conference crumble under the weight of its own arrogance and stupidity.

Based on the above, I'm thinking the P10 has a huge payday coming.
