Gentlemen is excellent but is far from clear that it qualifies as 'the best'
of that time period or that it's a better film overall - but they're such different genres that it's hard to compare. The Gentlemen is a continuation of a tradition or a type and it does it well, but JoJo is something extremely original that stands more on its own.
