I don't know why this still has to be stated. They would be in direct opposition to the supreme court ruling if they restricted deals. They have a policy that asks players to have deals vetted by their legal team. Even then, a player is free to circumvent that process as long as the deal doesn't violate the HC and get them kicked out of school. Jaren or anyone else is 100% free to sign an NIL deal of any amount with anyone and BYU can't do anything about it.
