It seems pretty clear that Amazon wants to allow breathing room in between their 2 big budget fantasy epics, and since Rings of Power just ended (plus adding in that Rafe recently said season 2 is still a ways off), I think it is possible that season 2 of Wheel of Time may not release until fall of 2023. The RoP showrunners have already said that fall of 2024 is their expected release window for season 2, so it stands to reason that Amazon would release one season of either RoP or WoT every year.

This would make me a little sad, as I would hope to get WoT season 2 sooner than that (especially since it’s already done filming). So I am hopeful that we might see a slightly different release schedule, that looks something like this:
